Welcome to the Llantwit Major Archers web site, we are a Field Archery Club based in Llantwit Major but have members from all around South East Wales.

The club is affiliated to both WFAA and GNAS (including the Welsh Archery Association and Glamorgan Archery Association). This is to allow all our archers as much freedom to shoot as they wish and to allow other archers to shoot with us should they chose, no matter the association they belong to.

The club shoots indoors in Llantwit Major Rugby Club on Monday nights and in the Leisure centre on a Wednesday night 8-10pm we also have a come a long shoot at our Archery court on a Saturday morning. We are 'open' all year and shoot outdoor throughout the year at a number of courses.

Change of Venue Notification

Rod Umney was made a life member for services to the club, Congratulations to Rod, very well deserved.

Work is well underway on the new Woodland Park Course. A number of LMA archers took time out on their Sunday to go to Brecon to start setting out the course. There will be a 14 target course initially with lots of room to put in another full 28 target course later.

The site boasts good facilities and the hosts are really welcoming. We look forward to the course being completed and charted so as to shoot there. The location is in the link page and the directions are good, we all found it!
